2nd Follow-up meeting in Santiago de Compostela

The NePMTune team met in person this October 3 in Santiago de Compostela, with some colleagues from ICRA connecting via MS Teams. The meeting gave an overview of all WPs status and particularly discussed:

• the development of methods for the determination of PM(T) chemicals in soil and vegetables
• the results of the screening campaigns in the three regions of the project and further confirmatory actions aided by ion-mobility HRMS
• a discussion on the chemicals to be prioritized for their quantitative determination in the upcoming sampling campaigns.
• the status of the irrigation experiments
• planning for the remediation/treatment WP

Further discussions included dissemination activities and the difficulties encountered due to administrative issues in handling this type of funding and its implications. The need for an extension will be evaluated during the next meeting, which will be held on-line in January-February 2024.
